The large 146 mm x 38mm LCD screen can hold up to 6 lines of text using a scalable font, and it has a full-size keyboard so it’s also ideal for practicing keyboarding skills.
The Neo incorporates AlphaWord Plus, an enhanced word processor including:
- One key file access to 8 active files.
- Named files in addition to the 8 active files for convenient file management.
- Spell check and thesaurus.
- Customisable user dictionary.
- Find / replace and word count functions.
The Neo includes a USB cable to print directly or transfer files to a PC or Mac, and it has an infrared IrDA port for printing and sending to IrDA-enabled devices. There is also the optional “Get Utility®” software should you wish to send files to the Neo from your PC or Mac.
The Neo is durable yet lightweight, weighing in at only 910g (less than 30% of the weight of a typical laptop) and achieves a battery life of 700 hours or more, on 3 AA batteries (A laptop might manage 2 or 3 hours on a full charge, whereas 700 hours is equivalent to round-the-clock usage for about 1 month).
The Neo has a 3-year warranty and is compatible with Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP, Mac OS Classic 7.1+ and Mac OS X.

Returns
If your item does is not quite what you expected or is unsuitable for any other reason, we will happily take it back and refund your money but may have to charge additional postage. Any items returned to us must be in re-saleable condition. If an item is faulty we will of course replace it or refund your money if a replacement is unavailable. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered faulty. All faulty items must be returned to The Dyslexia Shop in the same condition as when it left our depot, in it’s original and undamaged packaging.
We cannot take responsibility for returned items lost without proof of delivery and the item is your responsibility until it reaches us.
