| The Dyslexia Institute |
The Dyslexia Institute is an educational charity, founded in 1972, for the assessment and teaching of people with dyslexia and for the training of specialist teachers. It also produces its own publications and teaching materials and undertakes a continuous research programme.
The DI provides comprehensive and highly professional services for dyslexic people. It contributes to consultations on policy issues at the Department for Education and Skills, and works in partnership with schools, as well as with the British Dyslexia Association, and other bodies.
