ReadingPen®TS Oxford
- Recognizes over 240,000 words from the Concise Oxford Dictionary of English.
- Reads the scanned text aloud in a British accent.
You can easily scan text or insert it using the touch screen and virtual keyboard, hear it spoken aloud and obtain definition, translation, spelling, syllabication and correct pronunciation within seconds. All looked-up words can be transferred to the PC for further practice. Text can also be uploaded from the PC onto this fully mobile, lightweight Pen, and can be read aloud wherever you are.
- Displays up to five lines of text on a high resolution touch-screen.
- Scans single words or full lines of text.
- Displays selected word in large font to enable easier, clearer viewing.
- Displays definitions, synonyms and translations of the scanned text on the LCD screen.
- Spells out scanned words, highlighting individual letters.
- Displays syllabic division of selected word or phrasal verb (most products).
- Audio word pronunciation with text-to-speech (TTS) technology using built-in speaker or earphones.

- Recognition and automatic merging of hyphenated text.
- Virtual keyboard for manual word insertion or text editing (using the included stylus).
- Auto-complete function when inserting words using the virtual keyboard.

Returns
If your item does is not quite what you expected or is unsuitable for any other reason, we will happily take it back and refund your money but may have to charge additional postage. Any items returned to us must be in re-saleable condition. If an item is faulty we will of course replace it or refund your money if a replacement is unavailable. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered faulty. All faulty items must be returned to The Dyslexia Shop in the same condition as when it left our depot, in it’s original and undamaged packaging.
We cannot take responsibility for returned items lost without proof of delivery and the item is your responsibility until it reaches us.
