This booklet is not a substitute for the in-depth coverage provided by books such as Practical Guide to Specific Learning Difficulties, also by Jean Blight, or Overcoming Dyslexia by Beve Hornsby, but it does capture the essentials in a conveniently condensed format. What it says on the back of the book Dyslexia is the name given to difficulties in learning to read, comprehend and write. It affects a minority of children who are exposed to the normal processes of education and who do not show learning difficulties and other school subjects. This absolutely invaluable little book helps parents and teachers identify dyslexia in both children and adults and offers straight for practical help for all age groups. An extremely useful and informative teaching guide for all age groups.
