Numbershark is a program to help anyone improve basic numeracy. It addresses many of the difficulties that lead students to dislike maths, including poor short term memory, attention span and sequencing skills.
The program features over 50 different games to teach and reinforce numeracy in ways which add meaning and understanding to numbers. The games are played with your chosen units of work (topics) each of which generates a new set of ‘sums’ every time you play the game.
The 500+ finely graded topics covered by Numbershark are based on the UK DfES publication The National Numeracy Framework and cover Counting and Sequencing, Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Mixed Operations, Special topics such as rounding, squares and primes, Negative Numbers, Fractions, Decimals and Percentages. There are also worded problems in arithmetic and ‘real life’ (e.g. 24 hour time and money in UK pounds).
The program has comprehensive administration facilities that allow a teacher or parent to monitor, customise and direct the learning experience of each student. The Numbershark CD will install and run on a Windows PC or an Apple Mac. Network versions are available, call for details.

Returns
If your item does is not quite what you expected or is unsuitable for any other reason, we will happily take it back and refund your money but may have to charge additional postage. Any items returned to us must be in re-saleable condition. If an item is faulty we will of course replace it or refund your money if a replacement is unavailable. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered faulty. All faulty items must be returned to The Dyslexia Shop in the same condition as when it left our depot, in it’s original and undamaged packaging.
We cannot take responsibility for returned items lost without proof of delivery and the item is your responsibility until it reaches us.
