10cm Geometric Solids

Our edx education® Large Geometric Solids are a great hands on way for children to explore 3D shapes, surface area and volume. Seventeen solid shapes in six colours make them a colourful, tactile and visual aid for young learners starting to identify with geometric concepts such as size, shape, angles and dimensions.

The solid shapes are easy for young children to hold, developing their fine motor skills as they learn if different shapes can be stacked, sorted or used to create a pattern. Talk to your child about the shapes to develop and encourage their mathematical language.
