The Flexitable Fraction, Percentage and Decimal Grid is a folding, hands-on maths resource that shows learners how fractions, percentages and decimals are different ways of writing the same amount. It is designed for use at home and in school, and is especially helpful for learners with dyscalculia and other special educational needs who find abstract number work difficult.

How it works

Fractions and percentages are printed on the front of the grid, with the equivalent decimal values on the reverse. By folding the grid down its vertical channels, learners discover for themselves that 1/4 is the same as 25% and 0.25. Folding again and again reveals the equivalent fractions, percentages and decimals that make up one whole.

The grid is made from pliable PVC, so it can be folded and unfolded many times. Seeing and touching the relationship builds understanding that a worksheet alone cannot.
