What is the Dragon Command Pack for Inspiration?

The Dragon Command Pack for Inspiration is an add-on that lets users of Dragon Professional speech recognition software control Inspiration by voice. It is published by TechEdology and written by Top Class Computers (UK) Ltd. Users can build diagrams and compose text using natural speech commands, without having to remember keyboard shortcuts.

How the Dragon Command Pack helps

The pack adds over 200 custom commands designed specifically for Inspiration. For example, a user can say "add note" instead of pressing Control and Y. Commands are imported into Dragon Professional in a few simple steps, and online training videos help new users get started quickly.

For schools and education

• Plan and write by voice. Students who use Dragon Professional can build mind maps and outlines in Inspiration hands-free.
• Works with existing licences. Schools already using Inspiration 10, 11 or 12 can add voice control without changing software.
• Training included. Online training videos support students and staff as they learn the commands.

For the workplace

• Hands-free planning. Staff can create and organise project plans, reports and ideas in Inspiration using speech.
• Fewer shortcuts to learn. Spoken commands replace keyboard shortcuts, making Inspiration quicker to use with Dragon.
• One-off cost. A single user perpetual licence means there is no ongoing subscription to manage.

What you need

The Dragon Command Pack is an add-on, not a standalone program. You will need Dragon Professional version 15 or 16 and a licence for Inspiration 10, 11 or 12.
