What is the IPEVO VZ-X ULTRA Wireless Classroom Plus Bundle?

This bundle combines the IPEVO VZ-X ULTRA, a 13MP wireless document camera, with the IPEVO Wireless USB/HDMI Receiver. The receiver plugs into an interactive whiteboard, projector, monitor or computer and pairs with the camera automatically. The camera then streams live 4K images over its own dedicated wireless link, without relying on the school Wi-Fi network.

For dyslexic pupils, copying from the board and tracking small print are common barriers. A wireless visualiser lets the teacher carry the camera to a pupil's desk, show their work or the exact line being read at a large size, and keep the whole class on the same place in the text.

How it helps in the classroom

The VZ-X ULTRA uses a Sony image sensor with video at 3840 x 2160 at 30 fps or 1080p at 60 fps, and a capture area of up to 510 x 300 mm. A built-in LED gives 140 lux at 30 cm. The rechargeable battery runs for 9 to 12 hours, so it lasts a full teaching day. The receiver outputs 4K at 60 fps over HDMI or 4K at 30 fps over USB-C, with a range of up to 15 metres.

For schools

  • Teach from anywhere in the room: no cables between the camera and the display.
  • Independent of school Wi-Fi: the dedicated link avoids network sign-in and congestion.
  • Supports pupils with dyslexia: enlarged text and live modelling reduce copying and tracking effort.
  • Three ways to connect: wireless, HDMI or USB-C, for flexibility across classrooms.
  • All key stages: suitable from EYFS to post-16, for whole-class and small-group teaching.

Supporting dyslexic learners

Dyslexia affects reading fluency, spelling and visual tracking. When a teacher enlarges a single sentence, highlights key words and models spellings live, dyslexic pupils can focus on meaning rather than finding their place. Showing a pupil's own work on screen also builds confidence when it is celebrated.

Why visual modelling matters

Step-by-step visual modelling is a widely used inclusive approach that supports pupils on the SEN register and their classmates together.

The VZ-X ULTRA has a three-year manufacturer's warranty. Our team can quote for single rooms or multi-classroom rollouts.
