The tabards have a clear PVC pocket (measuring 140mm) at the front, making them ideal for a wide range of phonic activities both indoors and out.
Each card is double-sided with the phoneme clearly shown on one side and a handy checklist of words for blending and segmenting on the reverse.
The Teacher’s Notes included are full of practical ideas and games designed to be flexible for use at different stages of any phonics scheme.
There are ideas for introducing the sounds, blending and segmenting plus alternative spellings.
Also included in the kit is a free resources CD-ROM with files for the phonic cards, editable word lists and assessment checklists, ideal for keeping track of children's progress.
