ARK Topper Eraserless Pencils (12 Pack)

The ARK Topper Eraserless Pencils are a pack of 12 hexagonal pencils without erasers, designed for schools and families who use ARK chewable pencil toppers. They are the same eraserless hexagon pencils that come with each ARK pencil topper, so they give you a ready supply of replacements and spares when pencils are worn down, lost or shared around the classroom.

How it helps

ARK pencil toppers slide onto the end of a pencil to give learners a safe, discreet item to chew while they write. Standard pencils with a metal eraser end are not designed for this, so having a stock of matching eraserless pencils keeps toppers in use and ready to go. The pencils are compatible with ARK's Krypto-Bite, Bite Saber and Brick Stick toppers.

For schools

• Keeps a supply of compatible pencils for pupils who use ARK chewable toppers.
• Twelve pencils per pack, so spares can be kept in classrooms, intervention rooms and resource bases.
• Saves moving a topper between pencils of different shapes and sizes.
• Useful for SENCOs managing sensory resources across several classes.

For parents and home use

• Keeps a topper ready to use for homework and writing practice.
• Lets you send a spare pencil to school in a pencil case or bag.
• Replaces pencils as they are sharpened down.

Supporting SEND and learning differences

Many learners with SEND or sensory needs chew while they concentrate on written work. A chewable topper on a suitable pencil lets them meet that need safely at the desk, without chewing the pencil itself or their clothing. Keeping a supply of compatible pencils means the support is always available when it is needed.

Why topper pencils matter

A sensory support only works if it is ready to hand. Pencil toppers are designed to fit a particular pencil shape, and using the pencils they are supplied with helps the topper stay securely in place during writing. A pack of matching spares avoids gaps when pencils run short.

Please note the chewable toppers are sold separately. If you would like help choosing a topper to go with these pencils, our team is happy to help.

• What are ARK Topper Eraserless Pencils?
They are a pack of 12 hexagonal pencils without erasers. They are the same pencils that come with each ARK chewable pencil topper, sold as a pack so you can keep spares and replacements for learners who use toppers at school or home.
• Who are they for?
They are for schools, SENCOs and parents who already use, or plan to use, ARK chewable pencil toppers. A supply of matching pencils keeps toppers ready for learners who chew while they write, without needing to move a topper between different pencils.
• Do they help children with SEND?
They support children with SEND indirectly by keeping chewable toppers ready to use. Many learners with sensory needs chew while writing, and a topper on a compatible pencil gives a safe outlet. The pencils themselves are standard writing pencils, so they work for everyday classwork as well.
• Can they be used in school?
Yes, they are well suited to schools. With 12 pencils in each pack, spares can be kept in different classrooms, intervention rooms or resource bases so that pupils who use ARK toppers always have a compatible pencil ready for lessons.
• Which toppers do they fit?
They are compatible with ARK's Krypto-Bite, Bite Saber and Brick Stick pencil toppers. The toppers are not included in this pack and are sold separately, so please add the topper you need to your order if you do not already have one.
• Are chewable toppers included?
No, the toppers are not included. This pack contains 12 eraserless pencils only. They are designed to be used with ARK chewable pencil toppers, which are sold separately. If you need a topper as well, our team can help you choose one that suits your learner.
