Designed to be convenient and discreet (205mm x 74mm), the Crossbow Reading Ruler is a small overlay designed specifically to benefit those with Visual Stress and dyslexia. Not only does the Eye Level Reading Ruler work to reduce the symptoms of Visual Stress, it also highlights and underlines text, making it easier for the dyslexic reader to keep their place on the page they are reading.

Launched in 2004 to provide a user-friendly alternative for Irlen Syndrome sufferers who resist using the more intrusive large overlays, these reading rulers combine the following features: - 

• A sufficiently wide range of colors to meet the needs of all children who will benefit from using a colored overlay product
• Tinted strips on the edge of the ruler and not as a central “letterbox”, ensuring that context is not lost.
• A choice of single line or paragraph depth tracking, differentiating individual needs and ensuring that fluency can be achieved while using the reading ruler.
• One side matt coated, one side gloss; again allowing for individual preference

Our ten colours have been selected to provide the optimum choice between tints while also recognising the areas of the spectrum that are most frequently beneficial. There is no complicated testing procedure: If you are trying them out for the first time, get the ten colour pack and try all the colors: you will find out straight away if one of the colors makes a difference.
