What is the IPEVO DUET?

The IPEVO DUET is a ready-to-use audio kit for hybrid meetings, combining two IPEVO VOCAL AI beamforming speakerphones with the IPEVO 2-VOCAL Wireless Dongle. It is designed for employers and IT teams equipping small to medium meeting rooms of about 5.3 m x 4 m, with 4 to 8 people around the table.

How it helps

A single speakerphone rarely covers a whole table, so people at the far end are hard to hear on the call. The DUET places two VOCALs where people actually sit and synchronises their audio through one USB dongle. Remote colleagues hear everyone clearly, and people in the room hear the call from both ends of the table.

Each VOCAL uses 2-way AI noise reduction, which IPEVO says was trained on over 500 million data, plus acoustic echo cancellation. That reduces keyboard noise, air conditioning hum and other background sound on both sides of the conversation. Each VOCAL runs for up to 40 hours on battery, and the wireless link reaches up to 15 metres.

Power and Batteries

Each VOCAL has a built-in rechargeable battery giving up to 40 hours via Bluetooth at 50% speaker volume. The dongle is powered from the computer's USB port.
