Snakes & Adders - Takes & Ladders (0-10)

One in a series of simple yet effective games, designed by primary school teacher Christine Towndrow. This game helps with the practice of simple sums up to 10 using a format that children know and love; snakes and ladders.

The gameboard is a double-sided A3 size laminated card, with the Snakes & Adders game printed on one side, and the Takes & Ladders game on the other. Each time a player moves they must answer the sum on the square they land on. If they give a wrong answer, they miss a turn. As usual, ladders take you up the grid, snakes take you down. The first to the finishing square is the winner.
